Sweet i was into BMX a little Never really bad ass because I was too fucking fat when I was into it but i had a kickass haro and currently have a pretty sick Mirra Co. Bike. Got into BMX before I was a skater, but I was a small kid so I could'nt pull off mean tricks. Did ride the track a lot. I had pretty much a frankenstein bike but its mostly GT, Hutch and Haro parts. Didn't have much money back then so I had to buy everything separately and assemble it myself.

I've been looking to buy a BMX bike recently. I have a couple of mountain bikes in my garage, but I don't like to ride them. Sitting up that high makes me feel like an old man, and all those gears take the feel out of riding. I'm trying to find a vintage Redline (chrome and red would be cool)

Damn I haven't heard anyone mention a Hutch in a long time!! I used to have a Mongoose "Supergoose" back in the day. It had orange snake belly tires and white wheel covers!! This is of course way before Mongoose started showing up in Targets and Wal-Marts!!! lol..

Just came back from Walmart. I found a semi-decent BMX for $100. www.walmart.com/ip/20-Hyper-Spinner-Pro-BMX-Bike/11065501Been reading a lot of reviews about it and people say it's a pretty good deal. They also say the 1 piece cranks are shit, but it's a good bike to upgrade. If my brother doesn't still have that vintage redline (or if he doesn't want to sell it to me) i might just get this. they also had a Kent for $50 that I liked because it has a coaster brake. but $50 is way too cheap for a cheap bike, and people say the Hyper bike is the one to get. Also it's solid flat black once you peel the stickers off. PERFECT! I also wont feel the hurt so bad if I buy a $100 bike and never ride it. If i ride it all the time I can upgrade the parts as I break them! ;D

Anyone ever seen an Australian flick from the 80s called BMX Bandits? Classic! Stars a young Nicole Kidman. Unfortunately, she keeps her clothes on.
