Many are asking how these monsters are made. Not to give away any trade secrets, but here is an overview of our step by step process. As you will see they are quite laborious and it gets tedious. You gotta love the sweet smell of resin though....hmmm..... Seen here is a Necro2 being constructed. This is a "Weaver" series that you will see from casting to our airbrushing techniques to finished body. The "Widow" series is the same technique, only instead of fiberglass we use carbon fiber cloth and a clear epoxy resin. Enjoy. Phase 1: Prepping mold, casting, laying up Fiberglass cloth, finishing, priming. Platinum silicone mold prepped with petroleum jelly. This is about 5 layers of cloth + resin. It starts off with a gelcoat, then the "Endoskeleton" is affixed in place. The casting out of the mold, after about 10 layers of glass and resin. Automotive primer coat - about 5 coats. Tune in for the next series of steps.

A backing fiberglass board is made, about 5 layers of cloth. This makes the body hollow. Seen here after it has cured and trimming in progress. What we got here is a hard, hollow shell, trimmed, drilled, shielded, and primed (again): Next up is painting.

A little bit of red metallic highlights. Could be the final paintjob, awaiting customer approval. After approval, we coat it with a clear hard epoxy.

We live by the credo of instead of standing out in the crowd, WE STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM IT. The guitar market has become so saturated by laziness(in design) and become so mainstream that somebody needed to stir some shit up.
