I have a few questions about the optional LED fretboard.
1. Are these regular strength LED's or the super bright ones? (I want them as an accent not a distraction)
2. Are they always on when I'm plugged in or can I switch them off?
3. How are they powered? Do they run off the amp, my pedal boards or is there a battery?
4. Are they solid lights or is there an optional fade, pulse or knightrider effect? (or would that be a distraction)

There's always a mini toggle switch just below the volume knob. 3. They are powered by a 9v battery. 4. Just stationary on or off. I don't think I can handle the cheese factor of christmas lights. That would just be irritating.

Wouldn't the LED lights make quite a bit of noise when run through the amp?

Wouldn't the LED lights make quite a bit of noise when run through the amp? Nope. The whole thing is embedded in epoxy, kinda like if you look at the back of an EMG pickup, its an epoxy-like black sludge called scotchcast, it prevents interference. Really good observation, though.

No you can't change em when they go out.
They are literally part of the neck, they are embedded in epoxy to eliminate any electronic interference, or any buzzing problems from string vibrations.
Basically when they go out, you just replace the neck. One of the reasons why I want everything on the guitars interchangable.
