It doesn't nessecarily have to be a cartoon but as some of you know a trip is more like a cartoon lol. Anyways my cartoon is definately sponge bob square pants haha. I mean seriously, a sponge living underwater poris as he lmfao, going to a beach in the ocean with his best friend the squirrel. Dude totally an acid trip.

Definitely "Ren And Stimpy". I met the co-creator Jim Smith at the Girls And Corpses launching in LA and boy this guy is out there. Terribly nice, but way OUT THERE.
He did a sketch of me in Ren And Stimpy styled animation I'll try to find it and post it here.

dude just checked out fritz the cat, the nine lives one wow. Now that shit is outta this world for sure lol. very nice. and ren and stimpy also a great one marc i remember watching that as a kid thinkin it was crazy.

Fritz the cat.. haven't heard anyone mention that toon in years!
Fritz always made me think of that movie "One Crazy Summer".
( For those of you who have never seen this movie, there were short cartoons shown that help visualize John Cusack's internal monologues.)
I always liked that style of animation, it had that (for lack of a better term) 70's swagger to it.
Probably Bobcat Goldthwait's best movie, which isn't really saying much. lol. I still like that film.

Just accidentally came across a good cartoon the other day. Not as fucked up as "ren and stimpy" or "southpark", but a little more twisted than "Two stupid dogs".
It's called "Spliced!" (or "Isla de Mutantes", "Skruvat" for our international friends)

yeah dude I was around someone on acid who couldn't stop laughing at the thought of "I Are Baboon" from that era cartoon network it was funny as hell, honstly watching people trip out is cartoony itself.

I totally agree with you. There were a lot of strange cartoons in the black and white days. Mickey mouse was pretty far out, so was Betty Boop and some of the Popeye cartoons. (The ones were Olive Oyl would get senselessly beaten and nearly raped.. fun stuff)
I think those early cartoons were intended for adults anyway, and a lot of Disney toons still are!
