Oh man glad you guys like the shit, and even with the antics the show in Houston was still great we don't stay in the underground for the glamorized problem free shit fights just add to the atmosphere (But then again I didn't take the blow),Texas will always be our true home our first show was in San Antonio at Sacrifice Of The Nazarene Child IX fest with Profanatica and Thornspawn and Cemetery Urn and it was awesome, We are currently in Cooper, Texas recording the new record at Drummer Wayne Sarantopolis from Decrepitaph having a blast,I wished I was able to save enough money to buy an Ikon while I was here but don't quite have the cash yet ,but in due time. Encoffination does rule hopefully the a couple more songs will be recoded for that project while we're here. About Soundgod I dont know man this guy was a giant with like a feathered 1984 van halen cut but blonde and a gotee he was pretty smashed though ,

right man he was totally cool before the show started but after that when the fight occurred the resulting tussle saw an Imprecation mesa triple rec full stack go down(I dont really like rec's though) it was completely fucked all this over a shitty sm58 knockoff Ghoat threw down because his amp was fucked and we were annihilating. So then we go through all the shit to get with the sound company and this motherfucker says he isn't going to take the word of a band of devil-worshipers over his employees.Fucking Really,? I hope Imprecation got some compensation like lifetime beer on the house or some shit.

I don't know man I haven't heard from him in a week or so.E-mail or call him for anything though he's super cool or if you're familiar with the NWN boards I pretty sure he posts there frequently.You like the FB records man? I've always liked you guys man I just wasn't very vocal about it. I always liked the darker, dronier stuff , heavy or not. I don't like the jumpy happy upbeat sound that all these At The Gates clones are doing.

I know what you mean, but I just thought I was showing my age...Dunno how old you are, but I'm glad you know who Ross Dolan is or Pete... When we played shows here we dedicated a song to Quorthon and nobody knew who he was...we were playing with black metal bands with corpsepaint on and they don't know who Qourthon was. Its that bad. Even the clean vocal/death vocal tradeoff that everyone does now, A lot don't know Fear Factory was the first one to modernize and exploit that sound. I heard some douchebag at one of their shows say "wow what a deftones ripoff"...really, its fucking depressing. I can make the argument that Numetal came from Godflesh, but I'm not even gonna go there. |
