I dont think I said anything about Eddie Van Halen but that is one very talented guitar player/musician I dont think guitar playing or just Guitar Culture wold be near what it is if not for him also leo fender and les paul and jimi they all did so much for the instrument and how I see it and embrace it today if not for them I may just be a person who had no care for for music in gereral much, much less the depth of it or the guitar playing within it.( I've thought about the whole"if they didn't do it someone would" side of it and other people did do all the things said partys did but they were the best and in a time when money and status ment less...at least to a lesser extent I think.)

Yeh Eddie Van Halen and Randy Rhoads were the two guitarist that got me wanting to play in the first place!! I just ended up following the left hand path!! HA!HA!

If it wasn't for guys like Leo and Les taking their guitars ad amps to people and asking them what they can improve on, or watching people play and solving problems that they saw with their designs, we would probably be 15 years behind in innovation.
