That's kindof weird. I had never even heard of Cocobolo until I joined the forum. Sounds like it would have an awesome feel though!! Karl from Nile uses Cocobolo fretboards. Its the same family as Rosewood only with better and more exotic looking brown/black streaks. Very beautiful.

sounds awesome bro!! Karl Sanders is a great guitarist. I saw them with Immolation back in Feb. He changed guitars like every other song!!

Good question?? I love the feel of maple and ebony the best. Rosewood is good on higher end guitars though!!

I've always been really fond of GHS boomers and Ernie Balls!! I've always used Tortex 73mm picks too. Nothing else feels right to me!!

For D standard tuning I use 10-46 and for B on my 7-string I use 10-56. Tuning in B on a 6 string I would use 12 -56 , the equivalent of a 7 string set up!! Getting the intination set right is a bitch though!!

Well not really. Usually when I set it to a certain tuning I leave it. Like my Jackson v is in D standard and I use my Schecter Hellraiser v-7 for B or A. Pretty simple really!!
